From former players to ICC, cricket experts and fans, Kohli has been widely lauded for his 75th international ton. But Delhi Police found their own way to celebrate Indian batter’s century that won hearts of cricket fans.
“Dear@GujaratPolice, Don’t book our Delhi boy #ViratKohli for voluntarily causing hurt to the guests. AUS-SOME, game@imVkohli!,” Delhi Police posted on Twitter.
Kohli smashed 186 to help India post a mammoth 571 and take a crucial 91-run first-innings lead against Australia on Day 4 of the fourth and final in Ahmedabad.
Resuming on 59 after reaching his first Test half-century on Saturday since January 2022, the landmark came for Kohli after a patient innings of 241 balls.
India need a win to seal a berth in the World Test Championship final in June. World number one Australia have already booked their place.
