Peddler Kalyan procured the contraband from Odisha, hid it in his house and planned to sell it at a premium
Hyderabad: The Task Force (Central) team nabbed a drug peddler and consumer, and seized 500 ml of hashish oil worth over Rs 2 lakh in Gandhinagar on Saturday.
The arrested persons are P Kalyan (25), a drug peddler from Gandhinagar; and N Aravind (22), a drug consumer from Bowenpally.
Police said Kalyan, who intended to make easy money through illegal means, procured hashish oil from Odisha and concealed it in his house.
He had planned to sell it to known consumers in Hyderabad at a higher rate.
Following a tipoff, the duo was caught when Kalyan was delivering hashish oil to Aravind near his house. They were handed over to the Gandhinagar police for further investigation.
