Hyderabad: A contract worker of the electricity department was electrocuted at RL Nagar in Keesara on the city outskirts on Thursday.
According to the police, Lakshmi Narayana (35) had climbed an electricity pole to attend to repairs. He suffered an electric shock and fell unconscious on the poll. He was immediately brought down and shifted to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
The Keesara police are investigating.
