European Commission humanitarian chief reportedly shot in violent clashes in Sudan
European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office Head Fransen reportedly has been shot during clashes in Khartoum, Sudan.
Fierce fighting broke out between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Saturday in which at least 185 people have been killed and 1800, including combatants, have been wounded.
Saturday saw fighting in the capital and other parts of the country as the army struck a base belonging to the RSF in the city of Omdurman, outside Khartoum.
