Ex-BJP councillor along with 3 family members ends life by consuming poison in MP, suicide note found

 In a shocking incident reported from Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh, a former BJP councillor alog with his three family members committed suicide on Thursday.

The victims have been identified as Sanjeev Mishra (45), his wife Neelam Mishra, two sons-Anmol and Sarthak Mishra aged 13 and 7, all residents of Buntinagar.

Sanjeev Mishra has been a former BJP corporator and used to run a restaurant named ‘Janta Bhojnalaya’ near Brass Mill.

Police have found a suicide note from the spot during preliminary investigation. The purported suicide note mentioned that Sanjeev’s son suffered a genetic disease named ‘muscular dystrophy’ which troubled the family for 5 years.

The purported note mentioned that the family was unable to bear the trouble of his illness as hence ending their lives.

All four of them died during treatment at the district hospital. Police said they are probing the case further.
