Kothagudem: A farmer died when struck by lightning at Venkataya thanda of Chandrugonda mandal in the district on Saturday.
Banothu Ravi (38) was struck by lightning when he was working in his cotton field as a thunderstorm started suddenly in the evening hours. Fellow farmers and villagers rushed him to the government hospital in Chandrugonda, where doctors declared him brought dead.
