Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Five staffers including headmaster of the Ashram school in Wankidi mandal (Girls) were transferred for dereliction of duties in the wake of hospitalisation of 64 students caused by food poisoning.
An order to this effect was issued by ITDA-Utnoor project officer Khusbu Gupta on Tuesday evening.
Headmaster Srinivas was transferred to a school in Kaghaznagar, while Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Sevantha, cook Harikishan, workers Kamala and Pentaiah were transferred to different schools in the district, according to the order.

On October 30, around 50 students took ill after consuming dinner at the hostel. Fifteen more students were hospitalised the next day.
A total of 63 students were discharged, but the medical condition of Class 9 student, Shailaja, is learnt to be still critical. She is undergoing treatment at NIMS-Hyderabad.
