Hyderabad: BRS leaders launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over special exemptions granted to the movie ‘Game Changer’, produced by TFDC Chairman Dil Raju.
Speaking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan, MLC Deshapati Srinivas charged the Chief Minister of duplicity, questioning the rationale behind favouring Dil Raju.
“If Dil Raju believes Telangana has the vibe of toddy and mutton, he should open toddy and mutton shops instead of seeking ticket price hikes for his films. His anti-Telangana stance is well-known,” he said, condemning the Congress and Dil Raju’s attack on Telangana culture.
Former MLA Rasamayi Balakishan asked what Revanth Reddy had received from Dil Raju in return for the exemptions. “His U-turns on six guarantees and ticket price hikes are unacceptable,” he said. He demanded accountability from the Congress government, criticising its frequent policy reversals and disregard for Telangana’s sentiments.
