T Manisha allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant to process and forward bills of the complainant to her superiors.
Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught T Manisha, the Assistant Engineer, GHMC of Nehru Nagar for demanding and accepting a bribe at her office at Golnaka in Amberpet on Monday.
ACB officials said Manisha allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant to process and forward bills of the complainant to her superiors.
It is learnt that the complaint had already given Rs 5,000, a part of the bribe amount earlier.
The bribe was recovered from her and she was arrested and produced before the ACB for remanding in judicial custody.
