Porel says we will be going to Chennai on a high after the win against SRH
Visakhapatnam: “It is good to win two games at home at the start of the IPL campaign. We will be going to Chennai on a high,” said Abishek Porel of Delhi Capitals after the team’s seven-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad here on Sunday.
Reflecting on dropping Aniket Verma of SRH when he was six, Porel said the team backed him, saying that those things do happen. “They just told me how you come back was more important,” he said.
“We are hungry to win the trophy. We started well, and we just want to keep moving ahead,” Porel said.
“We play as a team. Faf is doing a great job in batting as well. Fraser takes his time, knows how to handle it. Overall, Stubbs played well and had a good finish,” he said.
On Axar Patel’s captaincy, Porel said he’s too good actually off the field, very funny, but on the field, a very motivated guy.
“I really enjoy his captaincy,” he added.
