Have you noticed? Microsoft has redesigned its Microsoft 365 logo

Microsoft has effected a change in the logo of its most popular software, the Microsoft 365. The redesign is not going well with users. Incidentally, Microsoft Office was rebranded as Microsoft 365 just three years ago

Have you noticed?

The most popular Microsoft has yet again opted for the rebranding of its iconic product Microsoft 365 logo from the blue hexagon to the Copilot logo with a small ‘M365’ written at the bottom of the new logo.

Interestingly, just about three years ago, Microsoft Office was rebranded as Microsoft 365 and now the software giant has gone for the rebranding again. The frequent rebranding has led to criticism that the users were getting confused, but perhaps, Microsoft wants the users to remember that it is focussing more on the Artificial Intelligence initiatives named CoPilot. Incidentally, the new logo is a match for the CoPilot logo.

The rebranding initiatives by any company is not immediately accepted by the users. Take the example of X, which was hitherto called as twitter. World over even now, X is more commonly referred to by its old name. In fact, it has now become a regular practise for all media organisations, whenever X is mentioned in any report, to mention that it is formerly known as twitter.

Not all rebrands go well with the users. We have to wait for some time to see whether the users will accept the new logo of Microsoft office.
