
The seven-member sub-committee will understand and resolve problems of the Telangana Cricket Association
HYDERABAD: In a significant development related to the affiliation of Telangana Cricket Association, Hyderabad Cricket Association president A Jagan Mohan Rao informed on Thursday that they have appointed a seven-member committee to address concerns of the TCA.
“This is in compliance with the BCCI order dated 11.07.2021, the Apex Council of the HCA has appointed a seven-member sub-committee to understand and address the concerns of the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA),” the HCA chief said.
“This initiative reflects HCA’s commitment to resolving issues and fostering the growth of cricket in the region,” he said. “The HCA takes immense pride in these developments and remains dedicated to the advancement of cricket in Telangana.
To felicitate Devraj, Dilip
Additionally, the Apex Council has decided to felicitate R Devraj, manager of the Indian team which won the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai last week, and also the fielding coach T Dilip “for their invaluable contributions”.
As a token of appreciation, the Apex Council has approved a cash award of Rs 10 lakh each for Devraj and Dilip. However, Devraj has graciously declined the cash award.
