Hyderabad: A busy season awaits Telangana cricketers. The Hyderabad Cricket Association will be hosting the Telangana Premier League followed by TPL Moin-ud-Dowlah, according to HCA president A Jagan Mohan Rao.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has given a go ahead to this effect, he said in a press release here on Saturday. The tournaments will be played in June, after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League. Following a request from the HCA president, the BCCI has agreed to extend all help in the smooth conduct of the tournaments and also support in developing cricket infrastructure in the State. The HCA also backed the election of Goa Cricket Association member Rohan Desai as new joint secretary in the elections held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai on Saturday. The HCA delegation led by Jagan Mohan Rao and HCA vice president Daljeet Singh, and councilor Sunil Agarwal met BCCI president Roger Binny, secretary Devajit Saikia, treasurer Prabhtej Singh Bhatia and others.
