Winter chaos has caused all sorts of travel disruption with many early Christmas getaways in jeopardy thanks to heavy snowfall in London last night. There have been mass cancellations and delays of flights both in and out of all London airports including Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted today (December 12).
Heathrow has seen both departing and arriving flights being cancelled as snow shut down runways across the country last night. The vast majority of flights are to Europe and are mostly British Airways however there are a couple of transatlantic flights that have also suffered from the poor weather.
