Heavy rainfall lashed Rajendranagar, Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda, ayathnagar, Shaikpet, Kapra and Malkajgiri, as per the weather stations of Telangana Development Planning Society
Hyderabad: Several parts of Hyderabad and surrounding districts of Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri bore the brunt of heavy rainfall throughout Monday with more rains expected from midnight into the early hours of Tuesday.
Between 6 am and 7 pm on Monday, according to the weather stations of Telangana Development Planning Society (TSDPS), heavy rainfall lashed Rajendranagar, Bahadurpura, Bandlaguda, Hayathnagar, Shaikpet, Kapra and Malkajgiri.
Rainfall received in areas of Rajendranagar include Mailardevpally (65.3 mm), Sivarampalle (54.5 mm), GHMC circle office (48.5 mm), Rajendranagar (ARS) (42.8 mm), Shastripuram Ekta Colony (38.8 mm). In Bahadurpura, Indiranagar Community Hall area received 18.3 mm rainfall while Barkas Chandrayangutta recorded 16 mm rainfall.
The rainfall in Shaikpet, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Secunderabad etc till Monday 7 pm was in single digits (mm).
