Grok 3 has been rolled out for Premium+ subscribers on X. Users need to update their X app to access the new features
Hyderabad: Elon Musk launched his flagship artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok 3 AI, on Monday, calling it the “smartest AI on Earth.”
Grok 3 has been rolled out for Premium+ subscribers on X. Users need to update their X app to access the new features. A new subscription plan called SuperGrok will soon be available for users on the Grok mobile app and Grok.com website.
What Does the AI Tool Do?
Grok 3 AI, a large language model (LLM), utilizes over 10 times the computing power of Grok 2, significantly enhancing its reasoning abilities. Reports suggest that the latest LLM outperforms almost all of its rivals in coding, mathematics, and science.
The AI offers access to two buttons with different functionalities, designed to improve task efficiency:
- The “Think” button, which relies on a mini model of Grok 3, handles simpler tasks and queries.
- The “Big Brain” button, powered by Grok 3, is designed to solve more complex queries.
According to xAI, Grok 3 AI has outperformed rival models, including OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo Mini, Google’s Gemini 2 Flash, and DeepSeek’s R1, in reasoning tests based on a mathematics benchmark called AIME 2025.
Additionally, the AI tool introduces an agentic feature called DeepSearch, which enables users to conduct comprehensive analyses and generate reports.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk announced in a post on X that the launch of voice mode for Grok 3 will be delayed by a week, as it is still “a little patchy.”
