High Court pulling up HYDRA is slap on face of Revanth, says Eatala

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender said the High Court finding fault over the demolition drive undertaken by the the Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), was a slap on the face of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and that he should resign if he had respect for law.

Speaking at the second day of the protest organised by the State BJP demanding the government to implement promises made to the farmers at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park on Tuesday, Eatala said the High Court had found fault with the functioning of the HYDRAA and the way government was acting with regard to lake encroachments. “If he (CM) has a little bit of respect for the law, he should immediately resign from his post,” he said.

Coming down heavily on Revanth Reddy, the BJP MP alleged that the Chief Minister was taking unilateral decisions without taking into consideration the consequences and the problems people were undergoing due to it. “The CM’s adamant nature is creating problems for the common man. The government is torturing people through its policies,” he said.

Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind alleged that Congress leaders were using HYDRAA to blackmail people.
