Hitesh defeated Jagannath Mukherjee of Haryana 11-8, 11-9, 9-11, 11-4 in men’s singles final
HYDERABAD: Hitesh Dolwani won the men’s singles title in the UTT Para Table Tennis Championship in Vadodara (Gujarat) on Friday.
In the men’s final, Hitesh defeated Jagannath Mukherjee of Haryana 11-8, 11-9, 9-11, 11-4.
Earlier in the semifinal, Dolwani scored an 11-7, 11-5, 11-5 win against Pallab of Assam and an 11-5, 11-6, 11-5 win against Biprojit of Assam in the quarterfinal.
In the women’s section, Vijaya Deepika of Telangana lost to Bhavina Patel of Gujarat 6-11, 5-11, 4-11 in the final.
