
No form of prostitution is encouraged or tolerated within the jurisdiction say Cyberabad Police
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) raided various locations including Bhagyanagar Bus Stop, KPHB metro station, Kukatpally and Madhapur areas and caught 12 women who were allegedly involved in prostitution on Friday night.
As a result of the inspections, cases were registered at Kukatpally, KPHB and Gachibowli police stations, under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
Further, the women were bound over by the Cyberabad Police to ensure good behaviour.
The Cyberabad Police said it was strictly enforcing laws against prostitution and related activities. No form of prostitution is encouraged or tolerated within the jurisdiction.
Regular operations are conducted to prevent and eliminate such illegal activities, ensuring the safety and security of all citizens, they said.
