
Fifteen malpractice cases with five each in Jangaon and Siddipet, four in Karimnagar and one in Peddapalli district were booked during the exam
Hyderabad: A massive 13,403 second-year intermediate students skipped the physics – II and economics-II examination conducted on Tuesday.
A total of 4,63,145 students registered and 4,49,742 appeared for the examination. Fifteen malpractice cases with five each in Jangaon and Siddipet, four in Karimnagar and one in Peddapalli district were booked during the exam.
Observers from the Board were sent to exam centres in Khammam, Wanaparthy, Siddipet, Nagarkurnool and Hyderabad districts and they reported smooth conduct of the examination, the TG BIE said.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) decided to implement an Aadhaar-based biometric attendance system at the spot evaluation camps.
The TG BIE constituted 19 spot evaluation camps across the State for evaluating answer scripts of the intermediate public examinations from March 20 to April 10.
The Board requested the Telangana Technology Services Limited to provide Aadhaar based biometric attendance system devices for capturing attendance of personnel in the camps.
