Hyderabad: 25 hi-end sparingly used laptops donated to poor rural girls of Govt schools

The laptops through PURE will be presented to poor rural girls in government schools very soon

Hyderabad: The UK-based company’s Indian arm, Claranet India Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based technology services company located in My Home Twitza Raidurg, donated 25 high-end sparingly used laptops worth Rs. 32 lakh to PURE – People for Urban and Rural Education, NGO.

The 25 laptops include ten I-5 Dell Latitude 3420, three I-7 Dell Latitude 3420 and six Lenovo ThinkPads. The laptops are almost new pieces with full warranty and home service, a press release said.

The team Claranet comprised Srujani Choudhury, HR Head India, Syed Wasay, Finance Head India and Akshay, In-Charge IT and Security and other staff members participated in the brief handover function which was also attended on behalf of PURE by Aruna Dara.

PURE is a volunteer-led organisation. Founded by an NRI, Shyla Talluri, founder and CEO, PURE focuses on Education, Girl children, Shelter homes, Special Assistance, Indigenous populations, Livelihoods and Youth leadership.
