ACB officials said Rahman allegedly demanded bribe from the complainant to not reveal the damage and defects found in the old meter of the complainant and to manage the matter without imposing any penalty on him.
Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Abdul Rahman, an Artisan, Group-IV working in Telangana State Power Development Corporation Limited (TGSPDCL) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 at his office in Mangalhat on Tuesday.
ACB officials said Rahman allegedly demanded bribe from the complainant to not reveal the damage and defects found in the old meter of the complainant and to manage the matter without imposing any penalty on him.
The bribe was recovered from the official and he was arrested and produced before the ACB Court for remanding in judicial custody.
