According to the police, D. Koteshwar (50), a resident of Vittalwadi in Narayanguda, lived with his family and earned a livelihood by driving an auto-rickshaw.
For the past few months, Koteshwar had been struggling financially and was reportedly unable to provide for his family. On June 10, when his family members went out on some work, he allegedly consumed a poisonous substance and collapsed at home. When the family returned, they found him unconscious and rushed him to Osmania General Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
However, on Saturday morning, Koteshwar died while undergoing treatment. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
