Sangareddy: Some unidentified persons abandoned a month-old baby boy on the premises of the Jagannadha Swamy temple at IDA Bollaram on Tuesday.
The locals, who noticed the baby crying, informed the police and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) officials. The baby was healthy.
He was taken to the government hospital in Sangareddy for a medical check-up and later would be shifted to the Sishu Griha.
The police were going through CCTV footage to identify the persons who had abandoned the baby.
