Hyderabad: Following the death of a woman and hopsitalisation of several others after eating momos from a stall at Banjara Hills Road No. 10, the police arrested six persons who were running the momos stall.

On October 28, the police received a complaint that a resident of Singadi basthi, Reshma Begum along with her daughter had gone to market and while returning home picked up momos from a stall there.
The family ate momos and next morning they suffered from diarrhea and vomits. They were shifted to NIMS hospital where the woman was declared brought dead while others were taken in for treatment.
The complainant alleged that Arman, Sajid Hussain and Shahrukh and others adulterated the Momos that led to health complications and death.
Under the direct supervision of S.Venkat Reddy, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Banjara Hills Division, KM Raghavendra Inspector of Police, S.M Basheer Ahmed, Detective Inspector of Police, V.Rambabu, Sub Inspector of Police, and P.Ravinder, Sub Inspector of Police of Banjara Hills PS, the arrests were done.
