Hyderabad: Dance instructor arrested for allegedly sexually harassing 4-year-old girl in Bowenpally
A Bowenpally dance instructor, Gyaneshwar, was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a four-year-old girl student. The abuse came to light after the girl refused classes and told her parents. The police booked a case and shut down the studio
Hyderabad: A dance instructor operating a studio was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a four-year-old girl student in Bowenpally.
The studio is owned and run by the suspect, Gyaneshwar. As per available information, the child’s parents had enrolled her for dance lessons about two months ago. During the training sessions, Gyaneshwar allegedly engaged in inappropriate behaviour and sexually harassed the minor girl whenever the studio was empty.
The incident came to light when the girl began refusing to attend her dance classes and revealed the abuse to her parents after being questioned.
Based on a complaint from the girl’s parents, the Bowenpally police booked a case and arrested Gyaneshwar and also shut down the dance studio. He was further remanded in judicial custody.
