According to police, a young woman approached the Miyapur police on September 9 and lodged a complaint against the suspect, Raju. She allegedly accused him of sexually harassing her by promising to help her secure opportunities in the film industry.
Based on the complaint, Miyapur police registered a case and took up investigation. During the course of the investigation, police arrested Raju and produced him before the court. The court subsequently remanded him to judicial custody.
