Meerpet police arrested eight people for gambling at a house in Badangpet’s RMR Colony and seized ₹4.54 lakh. The organiser, B Sai Babu, allegedly invited participants and took commissions. A case has been registered against the accused.
Hyderabad: The Meerpet police raided a house at Badangpet and caught eight persons who were found gambling on Saturday night. The police seized Rs 4.54 lakh in cash from them.
Acting on tip off, the police raided a house at RMR colony, Badangpet and found eight persons playing three card game and gambling. The organizer B Sai Babu was inviting the participants and collecting a commission from them.
A case is booked against all the persons who are apprehended.
