Hyderabad: Excise officials nab two persons for smuggling ganja from Andhra Pradesh

Nine kilograms of ganja seized
Hyderabad: The prohibition and excise department enforcement team sleuths caught two persons who were smuggling ganja from Andhra Pradesh and selling to customers in the city.
Acting on a tip off, the team headed by Inspector Chandrasekhar Goud, caught one person, Shaik Saheb Khan, at Moosarambagh metro station and seized nine kilogram of ganja from him. The sleuths also caught one Mohammed Ali, who was buying the contraband from Saheb Khan and selling to the customers in the city.
“Both the persons are natives of Gajuvaka in AP and into the illegal business. Saheb Khan was regularly bringing the ganja from Araku region to the city and supplying it to Mohammed Ali,” said the officials.
