Hyderabad: A day after a five-year-old girl fell into an open manhole at Rein Bazar in Yakutpura, the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) probed the incident and concluded that the open manhole was Hydraa’s fault.
The Hydraa Commissioner, A V Ranganath, stated on Friday, “Hydraa conducted a preliminary enquiry into the non-closure of the manhole issue on Friday morning. Prima facie, Hydraa is responsible for it, and the person in charge of the team will be held accountable. We will fix the responsibility/accountability and take stringent action on the erring personnel.”
