Hyderabad: Upset over not being able to clear his intermediate examinations, a teenage boy who attempted suicide by consuming a poisonous substance on the college premises at Annojiguda in Ghatkesar on Thursday, died under treatment in the hospital on Friday.
In the results, which were announced on Tuesday, A Jashwanth (17), an intermediate second-year student of a private junior college, had failed in three subjects.
As per available information, the teenager, upset over it, consumed poison on the college premises. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he died under treatment.
