Hyderabad: A fire broke out in a flat located on the ninth floor of an apartment building at Kondapur on Tuesday afternoon. According to the fire officials, the fire started when a family, staying on the ninth floor of the building, was replacing an LPG cylinder.
“A family member was preparing food on the gas stove while another person opened the second LPG cylinder kept in the house. Due to this, the cylinder caught fire and led to an explosion. The furniture at the house caught fire,” said Madhapur Station Fire Officer, M Fazal.
Three fire tenders from various fire stations reached the spot and doused the fire.
