Hyderabad: Man cheats dozens with fake promise of double bedroom flats, police hunt underway

The conman, Nagaraju, pretended to be a government employee from the local Collector’s office and collected amounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 65,000 from each individual. Once he had gathered the money, he started avoiding them.
Hyderabad: A man allegedly duped several people by collecting money from them under the pretext of arranging double bedroom flats that are provided to BPL families in Gachibowli.
The conman, Nagaraju introduced himself as a government employee working at the local Collector’s office, and collected between 50,000 to 65,000 from each person. After collecting money, Nagaraju began avoiding them.
After failing to get their money back or the promised double bedrooms, the victims approached the police and made a complaint.
The police are currently searching for Nagaraju.
