On Tuesday, Sirisha, due to some family issues hanged herself to the ceiling fan in the house and ended her life
Hyderabad: Fear of a police case reportedly drove a man to end his life at Hayathnagar in city suburbs on Wednesday.
The victim, S Nagesh, (25) a resident of Hayathnagar was married to S Sirisha (20), nearly a couple of years ago. The family lived at Hayathnagar and had an 11 month old baby.
On Tuesday morning, Sirisha, due to some family issues hanged herself to the ceiling fan in the house and ended her life. A case was registered by the Hayathnagar police following a complaint made by the father of Sirisha. The police took into custody Nagesh and in the night released him on bail of his relative.
On Wednesday morning, Nagesh left his house around 6.30 am and went to a private commercial complex at Hayathnagar and jumped from the building, said the police. He died on the spot. The police registered a case.
The police suspect that Nagesh ended his life for fear of police arresting him and sending to jail as the relatives of his wife had levelled allegations and held him responsible for the death of his wife.
