Hyderabad: A man was stabbed to death by a youth at Karmanghat in Saroornagar on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as B Venkateshwarlu (47) alias Raju, a financier from Janaki Enclave in Karmanghat in Saroornagar.
Venkateshwarlu was in a live-in relationship with a woman for the past ten months and both were residing in the same address.
According to the police, the woman’s son M Pavan (27), a photographer, also from Janaki Enclave, was often scolded and abused by Venkateshwarlu.
On Sunday night, the duo had an argument over the same and Pavan was beating Venkateshwarlu.
Around 11pm, Venkateshwarlu had made a phone call to police and informed that Pavan was beating him. However, by the time police reached the spot, Pavan attacked Venkateshwarlu with a knife on his chest, stomach and shoulder and fled from the spot.
The Saroornagar police shifted Venkateshwarlu to the Osmania General Hospital in an ambulance, where the doctors declared him dead. A case was booked and being investigated.
