Hyderabad: The proposed Metro Rail expansion in the second phase between LB Nagar and Hayathnagar is proposed to have six stations.
In a tweet posted on Sunday, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) said the 7.1 km corridor VIII is proposed to have stations at Chintalkunta, Vanasthalipuram, Autonagar, Lecturers’ Colony, RTC Colony and Hayat Nagar. These stations, locations and names are tentative and could undergo change.
The HMRL also said with the proposed extension of the metro rail till Patancheru and to Hayat Nagar will ensure a seamless connectivity from the north-west end of the city to the south-east end.
The tweet read, “With the extension of Miyapur-Patancheru (13.4 km) & Corridor I from Miyapur to LB Nagar (29 km) being already operational, the new route towards Hayath Nagar brings seamless connectivity of about 50 km North West end to South East end of the city from Patancheru to Hayath Nagar.”
