Hyderabad: A mock drill was conducted at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad under the supervision of ADG Octopus Telangana Organization for Counter-Terror Operations (Octopus Police), on Saturday.
The aim of the drill was how to protect railway officials, employees, and property in the event of a terrorist attack on a Rail Nilayam.
The mock drill that lasted for several hours was conducted under the permission of Arun Kumar Jain, GM/SCR, Aroma Singh Thakur, PCSC/SCR, MD, Shadan Zeb Khan, DIG/SCR, and B. Satish Prabhu, ASC/Crimes. It was organized under the leadership of the ADG/Octopus.
Participants included retired Army Colonel Bharat Prasad, DSP trainer Srinivasulu, Octopus team in-charge Mallikarjun Goud, RPF Inspectors Narayana Swami, Bhaskar, Civil Defence Inspector Sudheer, and others.
In the exercise, apart from OCTOPUS, personnel from Law & Order Tukaramgate,
Traffic police Ramgopalpuram, CAR- HYD (CDG), CSW- HYD (BD), Fire Brigade Secunderabad, ambulance and RPF personnel, participated.
