Hyderabad: Osmania University has released an almanac for the second and fourth semesters of postgraduate programmes – MA, MCom, MSc, MSW, MCJ, and MLiBISc – offered by its campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2024-25.
As per the almanac, PG fourth semester classwork will begin on March 11 with the last date for instructions is on August 6. The deadline for readmission is March 29. The first internal assessment will be conducted from April 7 to 9 and summer vacation is scheduled from May 1 to 31. Second internal assessment is from June 10 to 12, third internal assessment from July 9 to 11 and fourth internal assessment from August 4 to 6.
Students will get preparatory holidays from August 7 to 11 and end semester exams will begin on August 12
While second semester classes began on March 6, the last date for re-admission is March 17. The first internal assessment is scheduled from April 28 to 30.
As per the schedule, students will get one month summer vacation from May 1 to 31, and the second internal assessment will be conducted from July 28 to 30. The last date for instructions is August 4. After preparatory holidays from August 5 to 10, students will have end semester exams from August 11.
