Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (central) team along with Sultan Bazaar police busted an international cricket betting racket and caught one person on Monday. The police seized eight lakh in cash, a mobile phone, a bike and a currency counting machine from him.
The man Vikas Jain (41) a resident of M J Market along with his associates was facilitating online cricket betting.
“Jain worked as a collection agent for the gang based in Goa. He collected the money from punters and transferred it to the main organizers in Goa,” said DCP Task Force, Y V S Sudheendra.
