Hyderabad rains: TGSRTC bus stuck in storm waters under Chaderghat railway bridge

Hyderabad: A TGSRTC bus was stuck in rain storm waters under the railway bridge in Chaderghat on Thursday evening. The incident occurred during the heavy down pour in the city.

There were atleast 40 passengers at the time inside the bus. Of them, few passengers waded to safety from the bus, while others had to be helped out.

The buses routinely use the railway under-bridge route and the driver reportedly did not assess the water level and entered the inundated area and the vehicle stalled.

Passengers in the bus raised alarm seeking help. As a result, the people passing by the route rushed to spot and shifted them to safety.
