Hyderabad rowdy sheeter Shaik Amair stabbed to death in suspected revenge killing
Shaik Amair, accused in the 2024 murder of Mubarak Sigar, was stabbed to death in Pahadishareef, Hyderabad, in a suspected revenge attack. Police have registered a case and shifted the body for post-mortem. Suspects are believed to be Sigar’s relatives.
Hyderabad: In what is suspected to be a case of revenge killing, a rowdy sheeter, Shaik Amair, who was allegedly involved in the murder of Mubarak Sigar two years ago, was stabbed to death at Pahadishareef on Saturday night by persons suspected to be relatives of Sigar.
The victim, Shaik Amair (32), a resident of Chintalmet in Rajendranagar, came to Nahdi Hotel in Chandrayangutta on Saturday night to discuss some issues.
“When Amair arrived, a group of people led by one Ahmed, who is a relative of Sigar, took him to the lane. The unidentified people then stabbed him indiscriminately, which caused his death,” said Pahadishareef police.
On receiving information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem examination to the mortuary. A case is registered.
Amair is cited as an accused in the case of murder of Mubarak Sigar, reported in January 2024. He, along with his associates, was arrested by the police and remanded then. After obtaining bail, Amair came out of jail.
