Six IT employees were arrested during a drug bust at a farmhouse in Shankarpally. Excise officials seized hashish, LSD, liquor, and vehicles. Two suspects, including the farmhouse owner, are absconding. An investigation into the drug supply chain is underway.
Hyderabad: The State Task Force team of the Prohibition and Excise Department on Saturday night raided a farm house at Shankarpally and caught six persons who were using drugs. The sleuths seized 20.21 grams of hashish, 05 grams of LSD Blots, five bottles of liquor, three cars and six mobile phones from them.
According to the officials, Abhijit, Simpson, Parthu, Goyal, Yeshwanth and Sevio Dennis, all IT employees were arrested while two others including the owner of the farm house are absconding.
“The group had hired the farm house at Shankarpally and were resorting to substance abuse. On a tip off, a raid was conducted and six of the people were nabbed,” said the officials.
