Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (south east) team on Tuesday busted a fake educational certificates racket and caught four persons.
Those caught are Mohammed Mujeeb Hussain (54), Mohammed Nasir Khan (26), Mohd Al Baseer Rahmani (45) and Zia ur Rahman (34).
The police seized 108 education certificates of various institutions and four mobile phones from them.
According to the police, Mujeeb was providing certificates to candidates who were intending to go abroad or get jobs in MNC companies by submitting certificates obtained fraudulently.
Baseer and Siddiqui were acting as mediators and collecting a commission from candidates. Nasir Khan, had approached Mujeeb through brokers and was collecting certificates when the police nabbed them.
“Mujeeb was getting the certificates from Manoj of Kolkata, Ravinder of Meerut, and Ajay of Uttar Pradesh,” said the Saidababu, Inspector Task Force.
