Hyderabad: A software professional died by suicide at his residence in Kukatpally on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the deceased V Chaitanya (35) worked for a multinational company in Gachibowli. He had reportedly been searching for a better job but was unsuccessful despite his best attempts.
On Tuesday night, Chaitanya was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his home.
“The family members told us that Chaitanya had slipped into depression due to work-related stress and may have taken the extreme step because of it,” said an official from KPHB police station.
