
Saidabad police, with the help of CCTV footage from the area, identify and nab the suspects
Hyderabad: The Saidabad police on Saturday reportedly detained two people in connection with the alleged acid attack on the accountant of the Pedda Thota Bhu Lakshmi Temple on Wednesday.
Both suspects are priests. Unidentified assailants allegedly attacked Narsinga Rao, who works as the temple’s accountant, on the premises with acid and fled.
Local residents immediately alerted the authorities and he was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
The police, with the help of CCTV footage from the area, identified and nabbed the suspects.
An investigation is under way to establish the motive behind the attack.
The police are yet to announce the arrest.
