Around afternoon, Yeshwanth and Krishna entered the lake and drowned before they could be rescued
Hyderabad: Two persons who had come for a picnic drowned in a lake at Shameerpet on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police, the two victims Yeshwanth (24) and Monda Krishna, (35), both working at factories in Kukatpally had come to Pedda Cheruvu, Shameerpet along with friends for a picnic on Tuesday morning.
Around afternoon, Yeshwanth and Krishna entered the lake and drowned before they could be rescued. “Both the victims did not know how to swim. They entered into the deep waters and drowned,” said the police. A case is registered.
Yeshwanth is a native of Nagarkurnool district in Telangana, while Krishna is a native of Andhra Pradesh.
