Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival kick-starts at Shilparamam in Madhapur

Organised by the Sanskriti Foundation as an annual five-day event, the festival has concerts in the evening on all five days
Hyderabad: The 10th Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival (HTAMF) 2025, being held at Shilparamam from January 29 to February 2, commenced with Aradhanotsava Prarambham and Jyothi Prakasanam by Sangeeta Chudamani Vidushi Haripriya, at Shilparamam on Wednesday.
Organised by the Sanskriti Foundation as an annual five-day event, the festival has evening concerts on all five days, student performances on February 1, while on February 2 morning, there is one of the most important events of the festival — Pancharatna Seva by more than 500 artistes, Unchavriti, Nagarasankirtanam, Guru sanmanam of renowned violinist, Nadasudharnava Dr. Annavarapu Ramaswamy, Utsava murthy and Tyagaraja Swami Abhishekam, apart from live painting by artist Kuchi.
A captivating concert by Haripriya set the tone for the rest of the music festival while Vidwan Nihal set the tone for the evening and HTAMF 2025 by enthralling the audience with his melodious vocal concert.
The day 1 of HTAMF 2025 and the evening was made even more memorable by another vocal concert by Vidwan Vaidyanathan Balasubramanian, who captivated the audience with strong accompaniments from Vidwan Anantha Sourirajan (violin), Vidwan Dr Paravastur Srinivasa Gopalan (mridangam), and Vidwan Krishna Prakash (kanjira) created a transformational experience and atmosphere.
