Hyderabad: The DST-Technology Enabling Centre, University of Hyderabad (UoH), hosted a two-day symposium on technology development, assessment, and transfer on January 9 and 10.
The event brought together key stakeholders from academia, industry, and the scientific community to discuss the latest advancements and best practices in technology transfer and development.
Experts from diverse fields shared their insights and experiences, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas. A highlight of the symposium was a chat session held with speakers — BVR Mohan Reddy, former chairman Nasscom, Prof. BJ Rao, V-C, UoH; Prof. V Ramgopal Rao, V-C BITS Pilani; and Dr. Ravi Kumar, MD XCyton.
The session offered an engaging discussion on ‘Enabling Policies for Enhanced Industry-Academia Linkages’, providing perspectives to participants from across the nation.
