A woman in Hyderabad’s Punjagutta area allegedly strangled her 20-year-old son to death following a quarrel over money on Friday night. Police said the woman may have been assisted by others. An investigation is underway.
HYDERABAD: A mother allegedly strangulated her son to death at Punjagutta in the city on Friday night.
According to reports, the woman and her son Harshvardhan aged around 20 years stayed at Omnagar in Punjagutta.
On Friday night, Harshvardhan came home and demanded money from his mother. When she refused to give money, he allegedly picked a quarrel with his mother.
Later in In the night, the woman with the help of some persons strangulated her son to death. On information the Punjagutta police reached the spot and started investigation.
