As per available information, Sailu had been having critical health issues for the past 15 years. The couple was also living separately for past few years. However, recently they reunited.
Hyderabad: A woman murdered her husband and later buried the body in Kukatpally in the city.
Though the details as to when the murder took place were yet to be ascertained, the crime came to light on Monday.
The couple identified as Sailu and Kavitha, both daily wage workers from Papannapet in Medak district, had recently moved to Hyderabad. Sailu was working as a watchman at an apartment at Mitra Hills in KPHB.
As per available information, Sailu had been having critical health issues for the past 15 years. The couple was also living separately for past few years. However, recently they reunited.
According to the police, Kavitha helped by her younger sister and brother-in-law, allegedly killed Sailu by electrocution. After confirming his death, they shifted the body to a secluded spot and buried it amidst bushes.
The killing came to light after Kavitha who went back to the native place, complained to the village sarpanch that her husband had gone missing. However, over a suspicion, she was confronted and she confessed to the killing.
The KPHB police are investigating.
